Introduction to Music

Discover How Music Works
A broad, engaging introduction to the elements, sounds, styles, and ideas that make up music. Designed especially for new learners, families, co-ops, and group learning environments.
The curriculum is being tested through private co-op pilots. This stage helps us learn how the materials work in a real learning setting and refine them through feedback.

Begin with Listening
Music becomes meaningful when we can hear it, recognize it, and understand how its parts work together. Introduction to Music begins with curiosity about the music itself, helping learners develop a musical vocabulary connected to what they hear.

This foundation introduces the musical language students will encounter in future study while making room for discovery, creativity, and thoughtful listening.
