Our Why

Hidden Harvest Music Co. exists to cultivate musicianship in those who carry a genuine love for music and a desire to share it meaningfully. We guide individuals from quiet potential to confident expression and outward impact through a simple framework of three Branches: Grow, Share, & Multiply.

Through Grow, musicians develop authentic skill, deep listening awareness, and confidence through gentle, ear-focused training and foundational music theory.
Through Share, we provide thoughtful pathways that support artists as they bring their work into the world with clarity, integrity, and excellence.
Through Multiply, we encourage musicians to foster creative culture around them- offering inspiration, guidance, and support in ways that strengthen communities rather than compete within them.

As the music industry continues to shift and accelerate, Hidden Harvest Music Co. seeks to be intentionally counter-cultural. We are building a space where musicians can grow without performance pressure, express themselves with confidence and clarity, and create work with lasting, meaningful impact.

We believe that if God has planted even one song in someone’s heart & called them to share it, then it should grow freely- bearing fruit and blessing others without unnecessary limitations.

That is why the Hidden Harvest Framework spans education, creative support, and long-term artist enrichment. We are committed to honoring the slow, honest process from hidden growth to harvest, walking alongside each musician we partner with every step of the way.

Founders’ Story

Hi, we’re Tim and Patience!
We’re singer-songwriters, composers, parents of four, and the founders of Hidden Harvest Music Co- a place created to cultivate musicianship with care, patience, and purpose.

Music has always been a quiet, steady thread woven throughout our lives- long before we understood where it was leading. Over time, that thread deepened through marriage, parenthood, healing, and homeschooling- becoming a place of grounding, connection, and expression rather than performance or pressure.

When we met, music was already part of the connection. We were introduced through a mutual friend at a worship night rehearsal, and when we decided to spend time together, music was part of the reason. God and music were intertwined from the very beginning. Long before either of us were even Christians, God was using music as a tool in our lives- connecting our heart-strings to Himself through songs of beauty and truth.

Music has always been more than a hobby or ambition for us—it has been a language, a place of meaning, and a form of calling. After getting married and welcoming four children within six years, we found ourselves increasingly limited by the traditional routes available for pursuing music. The standard industry pathways often required a pace, posture, or level of personal sacrifice that did not align with the life we felt called to live.

Rather than walking away from music, we chose to go against the grain.

We began pursuing music in the ways God was calling us to in each present season—allowing the work to take shape slowly, faithfully, and honestly. During this time, a vision for doing things differently began to unfold (and continues unfolding). While pursuing the music planted in our hearts felt hidden, a pathway for bringing those songs to light slowly became clear.

Along the way, we became increasingly aware of something we had seen before in ourselves and in others: many people who carry a genuine musical instinct feel unseen, intimidated, or capped by traditional music education and industry structures. Too often, music is treated as something to master quickly, measure publicly, or prove through performance- rather than something first to be listened to, lived in, and grown slowly.

Hidden Harvest Music Co. was created in response to that tension.

This work is rooted in the belief that while all people are given the gift of enjoying music, only some are entrusted with a rare, musical seed. Hidden Harvest exists to cultivate that seed—to provide fertile, safe ground where musicianship can grow without fear, comparison, or unnecessary limitation.

Hidden Harvest Music Co. is a faith-rooted creative home, but intentionally not church-facing in language or structure. Music played a meaningful role in our lives even before faith, and this space is meant to remain accessible to anyone with a sincere love for music, regardless of background. The goal is not the glorification of music itself, but the way music has the potential to gently draw hearts toward truth, beauty, and connection as it did and continues to do for us.

The Hidden Harvest Framework- Grow, Share, and Multiply- reflects this philosophy. We begin with deep, listening-based musicianship. We support thoughtful, integrity-filled pathways for creative work to be shared. And we encourage musicians to foster creative culture in their families, communities, and professional spaces- prioritizing encouragement, stewardship, and long-term impact over competition or speed.

Hidden Harvest Music Co. exists to steward what is often hidden, overlooked, or rushed- to help musicians grow steadily, express honestly, and offer what they’ve been given in ways that bless others. We seek to create a counter-cultural path within the music industry- one that allows musical hearts that feel hidden to be cultivated, strengthened, and eventually harvested with care.

Music is not the destination. It is the vehicle. The work is formation, connection, and the faithful cultivation of what has already been planted.

While our Growth branch welcomes anyone pursuing musicianship, our Share and Multiply branches- and our network of creative collaborators- are intentionally selected.
